Trump made some emergency press release announcement today comma but so far from what I've heard the coolest one is the Trump class battleships!
The Trump-class battleship (lead ship: USS Defiant) is the centerpiece of the new "Golden Fleet" initiative. President Trump described the vessels as being "100 times more powerful" than any battleship ever built.
Key Specifications & Weaponry
Massive Scale: The ships are expected to be roughly 880 feet long and displace over 35,000 tons, making them three times larger than current Arleigh Burke-class destroyers.
Advanced Firepower: They will be armed with hypersonic missiles, nuclear-armed sea-launched cruise missiles, and 128 vertical launch cells (VLS) for a massive missile magazine.
Futuristic Tech: Plans include a 32 MJ electromagnetic railgun and high-powered lasers (up to 600 kW) for both offense and defense.
Automated Crew: Despite their size, they will use advanced automation to operate with a relatively small crew of 650 to 850 sailors.
