"The Number of FBI Informants in the J6 Crowd Will ‘Shock’ Americans.
This is the sleeper story of the week.
A DOJ official has admitted under oath that the FBI had Confidential Human Sources embedded in the January 6 crowd.
This was revealed with Rep. Thomas Massie asked why it is taking almost four years to provide answers to the American public about the Bureau's use of informants during the January 6 events.
When Massie pressed DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz for the number of FBI informants involved, Horowitz could not provide an exact figure. He stated, “I’m not in a position to say that,” adding, “I need to be careful on what I say.”
Massie asked a crucial question: "What we do know is you’re going to expose that there were confidential human sources at the Capitol. Can you tell us today how many went into the Capitol?” Again, Horowitz refused to disclose the number. Additionally, he could not recall how many FBI informants were compensated for their travel.
Massie later took to social media to raise awareness of the issue, writing, "Today I asked DOJ Inspector General why his J6 report has taken almost 4 years and won’t come out before the election. The number of FBI informants participating in the January 6th 2021 protest will shock folks. I’ll post the rest of my questions from this hearing later today."
Fox News' Legal Editor Kerri Urbahn described this development as the "sleeper story of the day," noting that many had been dismissed as conspiracy theorists for suggesting that federal informants were involved in January 6. Yet, Horowitz’s admission confirms what we all have suspected for years.
