This marks the prosecutor's office's first AI-related prosecution. Darien faces charges of theft, witness retaliation, and stalking, and is currently held at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Police allege Darien created the clip to discredit the principal, who was under investigation for theft, possibly motivated by personal grievances over contract non-renewal and a reprimand for firing a coach without approval."
