Like Tim says here, it's pretty clear that when the news headlines say that Trump was dragging down the Republican party, it's simply not true. As usual, in my opinion, just another headline to try and plant that idea into people's head, so that they then believe it themselves... and thus the entire point of the concept of controlling the media controls the narrative
