So essentially, Elon Musk is committing a American freedom act, purchasing a social media company being used by the United States government to spy and manipulate the American people, he has now made moves to break that system, and the government establishment is freaking out lol. As Tim says, another option would be for the government to just simply pay for the bot use, but that sounds horrible in my opinion because they'd be using our tax money to fund the entire project of manipulating us!

Let's just do a quick thought experiment. Let's say you go back in time and you have the ability to be the leader of an entire city of people that don't know what to do. How do you incentivize them to build more things and create more stuff to make the city better?
Looking at history simply, you can crack the whip and give them their amounts of food water and shelter, or you can create money and tell them if they work they can get money and use it to buy food water and shelter.
