Recently was reminded that Broccoli didn't exist in nature lol. Broccoli is actually a descendent of cabbage. As a cruciferous vegetable, the creators of broccoli selectively bred it for appearance, color, and taste.
So it's not GMO, it's "man made"
The broccoli we have today has been around since the Roman Empire. During that time, farmers would choose mustard plants that had large flowers, and breed them to result in broccoli and cauliflower.
